I love the metaphor of the dog door to freedom, very creative

Wow, I don’t just need an energetic dog door — I need a physical one, too! Thanks for the inspiration on both levels, Ducky! (And Ande, too.) I’ll be playing with the mental dog door idea for a while now…

Ducky says you’re welcome, Harmony.
I like both types of dog door.

The image of a doggie door which goes both ways easily is a much more workable image than regular human door. It also allows for more mental freedom and thinking. I like it!

Another great analogy, Ducky. Love it.
This ties in with the analogy that Abraham-Hicks used quite a few years ago — keeping our valves open to the well-being that ever flows to us. That has been one of my favorite of their images, and it ties right in with this mental dog door.
When I feel myself reacting to some person or event with upset, I envision my valves closing and the well-being I’m receiving being compromised. Then, as I choose a better-feeling thought, I envision the valves opening again and the flow of good (health, prosperity, etc.) returning to normal.
A dog door idea being similar, it’s important to keep the flap loose and free.

Ducky says thank you, Karen.
Yes, it is like the open valves image. I like that one too and I Tim and I often use that terminology, but I admit it makes me happy to see that little perky flap in my brain, always easy to move through.
