On Sunday, I talked about my dad’s new walker, a tool that’s helping him create a better world for himself. That reminded me of an inexpensive, handy tool that has helped me created a more consistent, positive thought. Watch the video below to find out more about it:

If you want a handy tool to help you pile on the positive thoughts, spend a few bucks to get Karen Money Williams’ Thought Clicker.

What a great idea, Ande! A “thought clicker” is alot like clicker training used for teaching puppies good manners. Click & Treat (C&T) is what dog trainers call positive training. And it works beautfully. Tell your puppy to sit, he responds correctly and you click & give him a yummy treat. Your treat, Ande, should you win that round, is getting out of the dishes. And probably a little pat on ones back for all those happy thoughts. Love it!

I never thought of the parallel, Karen P!! But of course it’s like that. And as you say, clicker training works great for dogs, and it can work great for humans too.

Oh my heavens, Ande, I’m just tickled with your presentation about ye olde thought clicker! What a wonderful endorsement — so, so appreciated!
Like you, I’ve tried the post-it notes, the bracelets, everything under the sun to try to get the devil dog to go on about his business. Nothing as been so effective for me as the thought clicker, and I’m so glad that you and Tim like it, too.
Interestingly, I’ve not been able to get Mark on the bandwagon. He’s not so much of a gadget person, I reckon. So I compete with myself — my previous daily records.
One friend who attends our Abe discussions safety-pins her clicker to her clothes. I always get a kick out of it, because she dresses impeccably — and then there’s this pinned-on gadget.
Thanks again for this lovely presentation.

It was my pleasure, Karen. I think your clickers are great little helpers!!! A safety pin is a great idea too. I can just picture a thought clicker pinned to a power suit.

It is fun, Debbie! Funny how those post-its have invisible cloaks, huh?
